Writer’s Workshop- Quardruple the Fun
Wanna have some Birthday Cake? |
If I had the chance to throw a dream party I would throw one for the boys. It would involve flying the whole family business class to Japan. The boys will stay the Thomas Themed room at the Highland Resort at Mt Fuji. The birthday party itself would be held at the Thomas Land Theme Park.
My boys are crazy about Thomas and it would be their ultimate dream come true if they are able to visit Thomas Land and ride in life size Thomas the train engine and friends. They would be thrilled to bits if they were given the opportunity to visit the place like the little boy in the video above.
The boys can get their fix of Thomas and Friends train engines and also indulge in their all time favourite food – Japanese.
It would be the ultimate party for them which they will remember fondly in years to come.
What would your dream party be like?

I hope you dream party would come true one day! I haven’t given much thought about my dream party but I imagine it’d have to be LOADS of FUN for the kids and LOTS of RELAXATION for us parents. Hmm…I wonder if that’s achievable…

I am not sure what my party would be like. My son would love the party you want to throw.

@Jenny,
I’m hoping to get a sponsor so that I’ll be able to throw such a party. If we could have it this December for Doggie Boy’s 5th birthday it would be great 😛

I live in Japan and I didn’t even know about that Thomas-themed park! Better not tell my kids or we’ll have to add it to our list of places we wish we could go!
My dream party would be pretty plain. Outside in my parents backyard with a giant Dairy Queen ice cream cake and friends and family from Japan & Canada. One bbq with Japanese-style small food and one with steak and salmon for Canadian style. Just lots of the people I love and going into the night with some great tunes.

@Medea,
your dream party sounds fun.. both Japanese and Canadian food.. yummy.. The Thomas -themed park is the one nearest to us in Asia. The other one I know of is in England.

Good question. I think my dream party would involve a trip to Italy…sigh…
My grandson is obsessed with Thomas also. Every summer, our local Steam powered train puts on a “Thomas” show. They have a “costume” for the train that looks like Thomas.
I think I’ll try and take him next year!

That is a great idea. I also have many ‘kid’ themed parties I would love to do for my kids. Thank you for stopping by. 😀

My oldest grandson was crazy about Thomas.
And I am crazy about the cake picture you posted!
=)

I bet it would be hard to top a trip like that!
What would your kids expect for the NEXT surprise?

@June,
I’m guessing a trip to USA Disneyland. They have only been to the one in HK so far.

My youngest grandson loves Thomas!

When they were young, my boys both loved Thomas the Tank Engine. In the UK, lots of the steam railways have Thomas weekends or a Thomas train.

Oh, wouldn’t that be quite an experience?
What a neat dream trip! I always think I’d love to take our Grandlittles on a narrow boat through the canals of England!
Thanks for sharing this dream with us.
It made me smile.
