Mother’s Day Wishes and Meet Me on Monday

77 - Happy Mother's Day

Next weekend is Mother’s Day. This year’s  Mother’s Day  will be different from last year.

I’m not looking forward to having a candlelight dinner for two at a fancy restaurant.  It would be impossible to pull off with the 24/7 Koala Tiger girl who is currently in her screaming – ” I want your attention now” stage.

What I would like this mother’s day would be a clean house and a week off from the mundane household chores. If that were not possible I could settle for  some time off to visit a spa or indulge in some retail therapy.

I remember the last time that I went to a spa was R was nearly 8 years ago before the eldest was born.  We went for a couple spa package at SPA Botanica that time. It was a 4hr long pampering session which I truly enjoyed.  It would be great to be able to unwind and de-stress  without having the kids climbing all over me for an afternoon.

My wardrobe needs a overhaul. Even though I have spring cleaned through it a month back I still need to remove some pieces and add in more trendy items to the mix.

Flowers too would also make my day 😀

What would you wish for this Mother’s Day?

This week Java posed these questions for MMOM.

Questions:

1.  If you had to eat only one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Yaki Udon

Noodles.  My kids and I love eating noodles. Here’s a picture of what we normally eat for dinner.

2.  Do you write your blog posts in advance or the day you post them?

It depends on my level of motivation and energy for that week. I do try scheduling post but end up having to post on the selected day as I take ages finishing up a post with the baby interrupting my train of though very frequently. I am hoping to move to scheduling at least 2-3 posts a week on this blog.

3.  Have you ever ridden in an ambulance?

No. I haven’t and I hope not.

4.  What is your favorite candle scent?

I don’t like burning scented candles as I have a phobia of the house burning over if the candle gets knocked over or the kids getting burned by it so there are torch lights and no candles in our house.

5.  Coffee or tea?

Definitely tea. I don’t like drinking coffee.
