Mother’s Day Thoughts

Over the weekend I celebrated my 13th Mother’s  Day with the kids. It has been a challenging and fulfilling 13 years for me being a mother. I can say that it is one of the most complex job that I have.

Being a mother is more then just  a status. It is a major responsibility that last throughout your entire life.   The dynamics of motherhood changes  as the child grows up. It is an ongoing learning experience  dealing with new challenges that are  hurled my way frequently.

From a mother of one to a mother of three it has been extremely challenging for me handing the kids solo without any helper all these years.

I’m grateful that my mom, who is still working,  helps out with the kids on the weekend so that I am able to get a breather of a few hours.

My 3 kids are my pride and joy.  They are my pillar of strength which support me through the difficult times.

They can make you feel extremely happy one moment and send you into an instant rage i the next.  Euphoria and Anxiety are also some of the moods that I experience frequently as a mother.

Every day is a learning experience for me interacting with them. I’m really fortunate to be able to be there 100% present for them during their childhood years.

  1. Happy mother’s day! Lucky you that you have a mom who can take care of your kids from time to time. I need “Me Time” too! 🙂

  2. Happy Mothers Day!Yes,being a mother is a challenge and I guess it is the toughest job. This time I received the first mothers day gift from my son as he goes to playgroup now.A craft done by him. 🙂

  3. We just spent the entire day at home and had a simple dinner and that’s it. Mother’s day is something that I spend with the kids and I like it better when we don’t celebrate at all and just rest and relax at home.

  4. Belated happy mother’s day! 🙂 Wow, 13 yrs of celebrating mother’s day (I’m still on my 2nd), I can see that you ‘re raising your kiddos really well. God bless you and family. 🙂

  5. Belated Happy Mother’s Day! I like that you make sure your kids have fun learning activities often. They’ll treasure those experiences forever.
