Writer’s Workshop- The Perfect Summer
This week on Writer’s Workshop I will be writing on Prompt #5-
What five images paint a perfect picture of summer to you? Put those five images together in a piece of writing.
If there was a Perfect Summer day it would start with having waffles with maple syrup and fruits for breakfast.
After breakfast it would be great to have a morning stroll in a “storybook” garden. It would be nice to breathe in the various scents and enjoy the beauty of the garden. The kids would love playing ball in the park and riding their bikes.
After time in the park it would be nice to sit down to an ice-cold drink and some lunch/brunch .
After lunch it will be time to hit the malls for a bit of shopping. The kids would love a visit to their favourite toy store Toysrus and I wouldn’t mind picking up a few items for myself in the process.
The day would be perfect if while making our way back home we could be able to stop and watch the sunset.

WOW Those pics were amazing. Especially the “park” and the sunset. Where were those taken? That would be a perfect day!
Stopping by from Mama Kats.

@Peg,
The photos were taken from Flickr..but we do have similar parks – The Japanese Garden here in Singapore. I haven’t seen such a sunset before but it would definitely be lovely if it is possible to witness one.

Those pancakes look so great! A perfect summer to me is a good book, the smell of the beach & suntan lotion, and good sunglasses.

Hello Dominique!
Thanks for your follow, I’ve returned the favor!
Btw, I also limit the water playing to our balcony even though we are staying on a landed property. Saves water! 🙂

Ahhh! What a nice day. Those are really cool pictures. The mall reminds me of our travel home office in Milwaukee. It’s designed round like that.
Beautiful sunset. I think I’d add the ocean waves and a tropical drink with umbrella. That would make it perfect. 🙂
