TT-10 Things I Would Like

I saw this meme entitled ” Ten on Tuesdays  over at A  Dash Of Me and thought of doing my own list this week.  The given topic last week was ” 10 things you want but cannot afford”.

I had been thinking about it and decided to rename it as ” 10 Things I would like ” instead as if there is a desire there certainly will be a way to achieve it.

Here is my list of 10 items which I wish to have (in no apparent order)

1. A Volkswagon Golf.
   I had fallen in love with this car since I test drove it 6yrs ago.  It is very room as a small car. It can set you back by more then SGD$100K for a GTI sports model.  Therefore it is still on my “Would like to have” list.
2. A Condo Unit
   It would be great if we could stay in the condo. I could bring the boys down to swim as and when I like and we could even book BBQ pits or tennis courts and invite our friends over for some entertainment.
3. An Apple Mac Notebook
   I have heard lots about the Apple Mac and it’s ability to make nice graphics. Apple is the preferred PC for most designers that I know of.
4. A tour to Japan
   I have been wanting to bring the boys to Thomas Land at Mt Fuji, to see the lavender fields at Hokkaido and visit Disneyland there. It would be a great experience for them and to really immerse them into the Japanese culture.
5. A  European Tour
   It has been more then  20 years since I last visited Europe on a tour. It would be a great chance to revisit the various famous places in Italy, France , Germany and England.
6. A Kitchen Makeover
   When we shifted into our current place I didn’t make provisions for a built in oven. Now that I do more baking it would certainly be handy to have that piece of equipment in the kitchen together with more storage and counter space.
7. A Six door Refrigerator * Just purchased* 🙂
   Our current refrigerator is getting a tad small for storing all our groceries. It would be good to have such a compartmentalised fridge to keep all the meats and vegetables separate. There is a big drawer for vegetables so it would be easier to keep them fresh longer.
8. A HD Camcorder
   This piece of equipment would let me take good videos of the kids when we go on vacations. It would be easier to take videos as compared to what I am using now- the camera.
9. A Branded Bag
   It is extremely expensive and impractical to spend nearly $1K on something LV or Gucci.  However the status implication and classiness is really capitvating.
10. A 1 carat diamond ring
    I could do with an upgrade of my existing 0.50ct diamond ring 🙂
