Today for our playgroup session we had pizza baking. I prepared the ingredients- sausages, bell peppers, mozerella cheese, diced tomatoes, tomato puree, pizza dough and canned pineapples before the class started. The kids had fun. Even Roy enjoyed himself putting the sausages onto the rolled out pizza dough. It was a food fiesta day as they savoured chocolate ice-cream while waiting for the pizzas to be baked.
Pizza Crust (from Recipezarr)
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
2. In medium mixer bowl, combine everything mixing well.
3. By hand, gradually stir in enough remaining flour to make dough firm.
7. Knead on floured surface 3 to 5 minutes.
8. Divide dough into 2 parts.
9. With well-floured or greased fingers, press each half into a greased 12” or 14” pizza pan.

Lizzy,
Yes it was great fun and the kids loved the pizza
Angeline,
Yes they get to eat it. I meant to write bell peppers instead of chili peppers. You may be surprised that some of the my younger boy at 15th month has tasted chili peppers and loves it. Maybe it is because he has a penchant for spicy food lol.
