My Littlest Student- Tiger Girl

My little girl really enjoys having a pencil or pen in her hand. Every time she sees her brothers doing their homework she too will pick up a pencil/pen and start  doodling or drawing circles on paper. I specially set up a table for her and cover it with large sheets of construction paper for her to draw on as I don’t want her to draw/doodle on her brother’s books. She is now able to hold the pencil correctly in both right and left hand although she seems to be a  more dominant left hander.  I think I’ll start teaching her how to draw lines and get her some tracing books to try out soon as she seems ready for them.

Tiger Girl- Feet On

Last week when we were at the Singapore Science Centre Tiger Girl spotted this footprint on the floor.  She promptly stepped on in and said “cheese” indicating that she wanted her photograph taken.   Tiger girl  is now more vocal and am able to get her desires understood.  She too loves being the subject that is being photographed as you can see her trying to blow me a flying kiss in one of the shots from the collage above.

At 15months old she’s a real natural in front of the camera and loves it when I go snapping away at her on my Sony Cybershot.  It’s really amazing how fast she is growing up and rapidly absorbing all that I’ve been teaching her.
