Writer’s Workshop: Being Thankful

Thanksgiving is a time to remember about all the blessings that we have received. There is really lots of things to be thankful about.  Last week I blogged about what I was thankful about.

This week I would like to share my Thanksgiving wish with all my readers here on Dominique’s Desk.

I am really thankful for you my fan/reader. Yes you who took time out of your day to read this post.

I’m really grateful for you to drop by and leave comments on my posts. It really brightens up my day receiving these messages from you. You have motivated me to bring my blogging to even higher levels in hope of touching more lives and making more friends through the blog.

Since starting this blog the readership and community has grown tremendously and I am thankful for all your support and warm that you have given me.

Getting feedback from you have fueled my passion in writing and also inspired me to try out many different things which I used to think were impossible to achieve.

I wish everyone good health and Happy Thanksgiving .

Knitting Fun

It’s the school holidays and time for the kids to learn  some new skills. This holidays we decided to learn knitting so the kids could their own scarf to use during their winter vacations. This year we will be going skiing if we manage to catch the snow during our trip overseas so having handmade scarves would certainly come in handy.

This was the first scarf that Doggie boy and I knitted together. We didn’t do a good job at estimating the number of balls of thread we needed to complete the scarf so as a result we used two balls of different colors instead.

This is the 2nd piece which I did. A red scarf for Doggie boy. It gets easier to knit with practice.

Since the boys already had their scarfs done I did one up for the girl too.
