Fruity Salad on a Friday

Fruit Salad
Strawberries, Kiwis and blueberries mixed together to form a yummy salad. I love the way the different colors come together to make a bright and cherry dish. These few days I’ve been trying to get the family to eat more fruits and vegetable and also cut down my portion intake.
It has been challenging getting Monkey boy to eat more varieties of fruits as he is rather picky about what he eats. He loves eating Golden Kiwi and by putting it in a salad I’m tempting him to try and eat more strawberries and blueberries too as they too are good for a growing boy. It is a pity that raspberries and blackberries are super expensive here in Singapore or else I would certainly add them into the salad too.
What do you put in your fruit salad?
Disclosure: I received complimentary golden kiwis from Zespri as part of their Konkoction drive. All opinions are 100% mine.

This looks yummy. I typically use grapes, strawberries, cantaloupe, honey dew, cherries, mandarin oranges, and apples. It has been a long time since I have made a homemade fruit salad.

Yummy! I do need more fruits and vegetables to shed those unwanted pounds a got over a year. But in here, fruits like those are very expensive. Maybe I just need to look for the cheaper version.

those fruits are expensive here, too. but they are delicious!
same here, my youngest is usually a bit picky with what he eats that’s why I just “sneak” in some of the veggies into his favorite dishes. 🙂
