Weekend Reflections: The Fantasy Garden
While out for lunch on one weekend we came across this hidden fantasy garden on the rooftop of Orchard Central. I love the whimsical , brightly coloured pokka dotted statues. It was like a scene out of a children’s storybook come alive.
Looking at the sculptures got me thinking about how nice it would to be able to have a fantasy garden. A place where one can hide away and be free from the stresses of daily life. A retreat or hideout where one can indulge in being creative and embrace all the passions within. A place where one can explore and develop ones talents and just let your imagination go wild.
Somewhere where we can go to rest and be worry free while soaking in the beauty of the garden. A place where time stood still and you can really focus on the things that mattered the most to you. Being in that special place will give you peace and comfort and leave you feeling rejuvenated.
It is possible to have such a garden and I’m going to create such a space in my house starting today.
Will you be creating your fantasy garden too?

I think sometimes we really need to escape the real world and went to a fantasy for relaxation. -bcb 10/09

I would love to. 😀 Even though I get mature right now, there is a kid’s heart inside of me. 🙂
