Sweet Treat and Mouthful of Fun on a Friday
During the trip to the Singapore Science Centre we came across an exhibition on chocolates and how they were made.
The kids were fascinated to learn that their favourite chocolate came from the Cacao plant and it looked way different from the way they know it to be in it’s fully processed stage.
In this cubical there was more information about the typical uses for chocolate and how it has been presented and packaged.
Mouthwatering chocolate in a box. There was an introduction to how chocolate can alter ones mood and give us various sensations.
This was one of the exhibits which the kids enjoyed the most. A interactive mouth where they could have fun while learning more about their taste buds.
Sweet, sour, salty and bitter sensations are given all so much more meaning when one can step around on the colour dots within the tongue. It’s a great innovative way to learn about the taste buds and have fun at the same time.

Now how about some puff cake to utilize the sweet sensations of my taste buds?
