Top 10 Things About my Car
This is the 4th car new which we bought since we got married. Back then in 2008 we wanted to get an economical Japanese car to accommodate our growing family. We decided on a seven seater so that the car could easily accommodate all the car seats that we may need in our car.
- It’s a Toyota and cost lesser to maintain then some fancy Eurpoean car.
- It’s a really cool shade of light green (Doggie boy’s favourite colour)
- It’s really economical and we can get about 450km on a full tank of 40L of petrol.
- It gets everyone where they want to be in the morning and saves me time/money having to fork out extra to arrange for school buses for the younger kids.
- The third row seats fold flat under the 2nd row so that it’s possible to stack in 3 kiddy bikes when we go out to the park.
- I like the flexibility that it gives me to bring the kids out to places to where I would like to bring them. It would be really chaotic to bring all of them out by public transport without anyone helping out.
- I like the fact that there are cup holders for each seat and a space to put my handbag next to me when I am driving.
- There are little pockets all around where you can place toys/books for the kids to keep them occupied in the car. ( No TV or handheld games are allowed while the car is in motion).
- It has sliding doors so it is easy to get the kids out even if we park in tight spots.
- My mom has the exact same car as mine but in a different colour.

My neighbor and her mom have the same car too and it happens to be a Toyota. It is great to own two of the same model in the family. So neat that it is your boys favorite color too!

I wish my car had a cup holder for every seat. It might, maybe I just haven’t found them all yet. So cool that you were able to get it in a favourite colour too!

Very practical features of a family car 🙂 I heard from other car owner that Toyota is indeed economical when it comes to fuel.

I also have a Toyota and it’s super fuel efficient. I get about 50 mpg and can go 500 miles on a 10.5 gallon tank. It saves me a ton of money and despite other things I might not like (not enough cup holders) that makes up for it!

We have a Toyota Sienna, and I love it! Ours is dark blue, but I would rather have a light green like yours. 😉
