Monday Music and Meet Me on Monday Moves me
I haven’t been taking that many pictures lately since we returned from our Taiwan trip. Here is a shot of a bee resting on a flower which I managed to see while at the Sun Moon Lake. It was really good to stop and observe my surrounds that day or else I would have missed the opportunity to take such a shot. Many times we get so caught up with the daily chores and tasks that we do not have time to sit down and admire the flowers. I’m glad that I had the chance to do so this month.
We can find that there are lots of wonders in our life if we spend time to really appreciate what we have and not take them for granted. I’m glad that I have headed the call to read more of the bible and am striving to read it everyday. Now that we are into the month of Lent there is even more reason to strengthen my bond with GOD.
What are you doing this lent?
This week’s theme is on commercials. Here is one on the instant noodles Koka which we currently see on the television.
1. What was the first live concert you ever attended?
It would be Sammi Chung Live in Concert in the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
2. What colors look best on you?
I would think blue or red.
3. What is one thing about you that most people wouldn’t know?
I enjoy learning new languages and only started speaking Cantonese after getting to know R.
4. Who would you call to be bailed out of jail?
Definitely R or my dad.
5. What do you think is the greatest invention of your lifetime and why?
It would be the IPAD. It really makes going online very easy when we are out and also has lots of great apps to occupy both the kids and us.

Reading the Bible everyday is admirable. This is something I fail to do and should really get back into the groove. Your commerical was interesting and suddenly I wanted oriental food. =D Have a good week!

I wish I had an ear for languages. It is a great talent to be able to learn other forms of speech.

Interesting commercial. Even though I understood not a word of it, I did get the gist of it. Thanks for sharing it.

I wish I could understand the language in the commercial but entertaining anyway.
I wish I could grasp languages easily. I love new languages and accents.
I am slacking on my bible right now too. I’m having a sort of crisis in myself. There has been outside influences too. Sigh.
