Yellow Mellow Friday
This week the theme is on yellow. Here are some of my captures of the colour yellow. I too am feeling YELLOW as doggie boy is home sick nursing a bad throat and R’s away again on a two week business trip. He really flies off too often!!
A sign I saw while parking the car.
A sign we saw at the airport
The boys favourite toys
Yellow liquids which I use on a daily basis.

1. Do you prefer your ice cream in a bowl or in a cone?
I like it in a bowl more then a cone as I’ll be able to have more flavours to savour then.
2. What three things do you love the smell of?
I like the sent of the perfume that R bought for me Clinique Happy, Roses and cakes in the oven baking.
3. Giftcards or no? (In regards to gift giving…)
I would say yes as it’s really hard to pick out gifts for others . It would be better for them to choose it themselves.
4. What sports did you play in high school if any and do you still play them?
I used to play netball in high school. I don’t play it now but we do occasionally play badminton with the boys.
5. Were you in band in high school? What instrument did you play?
I was in the String Ensemble and I played 1st violin. However if I were in the band I would like to play the drums or saxaphone.
My Questions this week.
1) What brand of nail polish do you recommend?
2) Is there any “must have” colours for you?

Opi – Best brand out there. It’s expensive thought. :/ Any shade of red. 🙂

Right now I am waiting to find the new Muppets line of OPI. As Rachel said, it’s expensive, but they have fun colors. I also like Sally Hansen brand that I can get for less at Target.

@Beth,
I have heard about OPI and seen it in the department store. The price tag really makes me cringe as it cost nearly 2-3 times the price of other brands that’s why I haven’t tried it as yet. Thanks for recommending OPI and Sally Hansen.

I used to play netball too! I love that someone know this sport!
I’m not sure about a brand of nail polish. I don’t wear it that often. But I’m starting to love piggy paint for baby girl.
Oooh I love red!!!

Another vote for OPI. They have a large variety of fun colors. I like red, pink and purple.

OPI is the best brand out there. Sometimes, it’s just fun to get the cheap drugstore stugg though.
Have a great Friday!

I don’t have a specific brand of nail polish… I go after what color I like at the time!

I don’t have a specific brand – I just peruse what’s in the aisle and pick out whatever strikes my fancy at the time! 🙂 That goes for color, too… 😉

I played the violin in school as well! I played for 4 or 5 years, and really wish I wouldn’t have stopped. Such a beautiful instrument!
Thanks for sharing! Have a great weekend!

@Josanne,
yes it’s a beatiful instrument which I hope to teach my kids later when they get older. They are into piano at the moment.

My daughter has played the piano for several years now, and it too is a beautiful instrument. I pretty much like all of them, when played skillfully! My son plays the drums. And so does hubby. =)

@Josanne,
I agree that the Piano is a beautiful instrument.. I’m letting my boys (4 and 7) learn piano first so that they will be able to get a good grounding in the basics before moving on to other instruments if they wish. I also started out that way with Piano..and moved on to learn the Violin after getting a Grade 3 in Piano.. have picked up several other instruments since then.

The brand that we love here is OPI. It is a professional brand and only sold by professionals. Though it might just be on Ebay.
Pink is my saving color, it cheers me up.
