TFI and Aloha Friday

Sleeping Riona in her baby carrier

Today was a really exhausting day for me. I was busy doing the migration of this blog from the old server to the new. I’m crossing my fingers that there will be no more outages and problems with this new hosting or I’ll just revert back to using the free Blogger or WordPress instead.

Tiger baby was on “steriods” as she dropped her morning nap and only slept for about an hour in the afternoon. She was super cranky and it didn’t help that I had to carry the 9kg baby around almost the whole day. I was so hoping that she would sleep longer today so I can get more things done. Doesn’t she look cute asleep??

This week I’m joining a new meme by Barefoot Mahala – Three Things you are grateful for – and combining it with the one by Kailani of An Island Life

I’m grateful

  1. I managed to get the #1 problem I blogged about yesterday solved. I had been searching around since January when the problem started and finally threw in the towel and signed up with a new hosting company as the existing one expires in June.
  2. That the kids are healthy and not down with any major illness so far besides the odd cough and cold. I’m also glad that the baby too has managed to stay healthy.
  3. We will be able to get the kitchen and bathroom fixed in June. I will get new kitchen cabinets and I’m really hopeful that I’ll get my dream Kitchen Aid mixer to go along with it.

My question this week

Where is your dream vacation spot to visit?

    Hm, right now my dream vacation is in Baton Rouge. My son is in grad school there, and he’s eager for me to visit. We keep having to put it off. Looks like August is likely, although the weather then will be beyond hot and sticky!

    Precious picture!

      @Ellie,
      I’m sure your son would be overjoyed if you visiting him. I remember back then when I was in university I was extremely glad when my mom and sister flew down to visit me in Melbourne.

    Glad you got the hosting issues sorted; it’s so frustrating when you can’t resolve issues that affect your blog/website.

      @Barefoot Mahala,
      yeah.. it’s frustrating.. luckily I have some tech knowledge on how to install/reinstall blogs from one server to another as it’s the 4th time I’ve ” moved house”… hope you like the revamp on the blog..took the opportunity for a blog template redesign.

    It’s good that you’re grateful! I have several dream vacation spots, but one of the best we’ve ever had was Mauritius.

      @Vered,
      I would certainly love to go to Mauritius if I manage to save up enough $$ to travel to your side of the world.

    She is ADORABLE!!!! What a little angel! :)

    My favorite dream vacation spot to visit is the all-inclusive resort in Punta Cana that my hubby and I have gone to twice so far. We’re hoping to get back there again soon!

    My BIG dream vacation spot to visit would be to tour the wine country in Italy. It’s on my bucket list – here’s hoping it will happen at some point! :)

    I would have to say Hawaii!

    Hi there Dominique!

    Thanks for sharing your feedback on my latest post! Wow! 3 car seats?!!! My second child is coming along in Sept and we’re already cracking our heads on how to arrange the seating arrangements with the addition of the infant seat later on…

    Btw, we’re planning for a local trip to Penang, further north from where we’re located and hopefully it’s going to be somewhere in May, after hubby’s done with his rushed projects this month!

      Hi Jenny,
      we have a 7 seater car . The 2nd row is for the baby and our 4 year old while the eldest sits by himself in the back. Adults are up infront as it’s not safe for the kids to ride upfront due to the airbags in the car.
