6 Social Networking Communities for Moms
Social Networking and building community is very important nowadays, especially in the blogsphere. Having an online support community does wonders if you need some advice, some where to seek information, reassurance and build up friendships.
Here are some communities which I have joined over the past year which I have been actively participating in.
For Mom Interaction
1) Mom Bloggers Club
This site has 2700 members at last count and a very active forum section whereby one can join discussions, read or post articles and interact with all the other mommies on board. I have met many new friends through it.
2) Â twitter moms: the influential moms network
This is a fun network which I joined which is a branch off from another social network which I am deeply connected to :

4) 29-Day Giving Challenge
I joined the 29-Day Giving challenge once but was not able to complete it within the stipulated 29 days. I do intend to give it one more try though this year. It is not easy to constantly give on a daily basis to others without seeking reciprocal feelings or actions. Reading through member’s blog posts it not only gives me ideas of what gifts I can give others but also how beneficial it is to give to others .
5) Greenlight Community
The 3000+ strong community aims to help foster better relationships with others, how to communicate with others and much more.
For the Domestic Goddess Within
6) Blissfully Domestic Living
This community network is a spin-off from the highly popular online parenting blog- Blissfully Domestic.  Created by Mrs Fussypants herself, Allison really rawks!! Did you know that her Blissfully Domestic was nominated for 2008 weblogs award as a finalist.
I too did create my own social networking community – Savy Hip Parenting but have yet to really launch it and get more interaction of it. I intend to use it to build up a forum for the upcomming book club that I intend to launch later this month.
