Over the weekend I was de-cluttering my cupboard and found my wedding dress hanging there in the corner. I took it out to try and was pleasantly surprised that it still FITS. It proves that I have made it back to my ‘original’ size before kids. I bought the dress 8yrs ago as we had to have wedding celebrations in HongKong and Singapore. It made more economical sense to buy the dress from the wholesaler then to rent. Renting would set me back by $800-$1000 while purchasing it upfront only cost me about $200. It really bring back many lovely memories as I recall all the hassle that I had in planning for the wedding. Everything had to be scheduled 1year in advance- the dinner venues, church, guest lists, flowers, wedding attire, hotel rooms etc. Can you still fit into your wedding dress?

Wahaha! Must feel real nice to still fit into the most beautiful dress!
I bought my dress too and carried it all the way from London to Singapore for our wedding here. I was living in London then but wanted to wed in Singapore so lugged the huge dress all the way. I haven’t worn it since though I took it out recently to admire its beauty just after I blogged about my 6th wedding anniversary.

my waist is definitely gone!

if that was the price, I would have bought mine too!!!!
Awww…why didn’t you smile in your photo or maybe even pose the same way back in 2000….*wink* I got married in 2000 too!

I tried out the traditional KUA that time around as I didn’t have it for the wedding back then 
We did take a another re-shoot of our wedding photos last year in HK but the photos are with MIL

Wow, you still look beautiful in it! I can fit into mine but I have a whole different taste now…I would definitely pick out something more simple and with less lace. You should be so proud that it it fits though!
