Ducks and Flowers

It had been really hot when the kids were in Taiwan this June holidays. The sun rose really early and was out before it was 6am in the morning. We didn’t really enjoy ourselves outdoor due to the heat however when we were out and about I managed to snap some shots with my DSLR

Sunflower garden

While enroute to Hsinchu we passed by a Sunflower garden near Taoyuan and stopped to view the flowers.

The sunflowers were really enormous and it was the first time I’ve seen them growing in a field. We didn’t go down into the field as the ground was a bit soggy due to the light rain earlier on in the morning.

There was a small fish pond at the Sunflower garden and I spotted this little duck swimming happily in it.

This duck was slightly bigger and had darker color feathers.

The highlight to the Sunflower garden had to be this. a kiddy train ride which had a individual trains running on a train track.

The kids had fun on their trains and went around the circuit twice!!

Lotus Flower

We didn’t stay long at the Sunflower garden as we hopped back on the car to visit another garden which had a lotus pond. Unfortunately the flowers have yet to bloom and I only managed to capture this shot above.

It was the first time that we pumpkins growing on a plant. I found it interesting that pumpkins were growing on a vine like plant as I have always thought they grew on the ground.

In our Modern world information is given to us at lightning speed. There are so many things to learn that we have to selective filter what we wish to retain. Sometimes while doing this process we accidentally remove the important parts which we should have commit to memory.

Listening is a skill which I am still cultivating. It is something which if put to good use will be able to enhance your life.

Listen and you will find what you seek.

Listen and you will know what you truly one.

Listen and you will be in sync with your inner thoughts and understand yourself better.

Sometimes there are so many different voices which fill up our heads. Some of them are louder then other forcing us to pay more attention them then needed.

It is often the soft and gentle voice that gets ignore when it should be the one that we should be focusing on.

I am one who listen more then I talk. I do not like hording the limelight or being put on a stage however if the need to I try my best to rise up to the occasion.

I try to be a good listener to my kids by focusing on each of them whenever they approach me with a query or just to talk. It hasn’t been easy especially when you have 101 things racing in your mind to get done.

Being distracted by the busyness of daily life also makes it hard to Listen at times. However I believe if you are determined there is nothing which cannot be done.

You will be able to find the answer
that you are seeking .

This is something that I strongly believe. I have been seeking a change in my life. It is my focus word that I have been looking at as I seek a more fulfilling and meaningful life.

Sometimes there are many questions which you seek answers and if you listen hard enough you will be able to find what you seek.

This is something which has been true for me.
