| Ryan posing with his wish for Singapore |
Last weekend we celebrated Singapore’s 44th birthday. The kids and us were putting up on the Ritz on Sunday so we could watch the National Day parade live from the comfort of the hotel room. The boys really enjoyed themselves tumbling all over the king size bed.
The Kids
Roy enjoyed having a bubble bath in the enormous bathtub they had . Both the boys had a bubblicious time blowing bubbles in the bathroom.
Over at Marina Square they were collecting wishes for Singapore. Ryan took the opportunity to write in his wish.
I wish for a Time machine for Singapore– Ryan
I quizzed him on why he wanted a time machine. His reply was with a Time machine he could go anywhere and wouldn’t need to spend a lot of money travelling.
[ What a savy little kid!! He already understands the value of $$. He may make a Savy Hip Parentpreneur in the future. ]
As a couple
Hubs and I had some time for each other as the grandparents were babysitting the kids at the hotel room. We went out and watched the movie UP

The show was great. I loved the warm relationship between the scout and the old man. Adventures are created and one should go all out to live life to the fullest. In the story the old man went all out to fullfill what he thought was his late wife’s long term wish of staying in a house next to the falls in South Africa. He does get the house over there in the end after floating it using helium balloons and with the help of Russell.
Besides being able to watch a top notch animated 3D film by Pixar we also managed to get some rounds at the nearby arcade. It has really been ages since we last played pool. I remember the last time we played was in University. Whao… that’s nearly a decade ago. My shots were a bit rusty but I did manage to sink some good shots 🙂
How was your weekend?
