This week I have been thinking about  what to do for Chirstmas.  I have been reading  Simplemom’s 12 weeks to a peaceful christmas . It has many tips on how to carry out your christmas shopping.

Christmas is one celebration which is a big thing in our family. Everyone will fly in so that the family can be together celebrating this festival.

This year I am thinking of how I can be more frugal with the rising cost of items. I have decided on doing more  homemade items for  friends and relatives. It would be more meaningful and there would be less hassle shopping for the perfect present for each person.

  1. Doing homebakes as a “family” present.
  2. Using my photoshopping skills and making nice e-cards, e-presents for family that are overseas.

How will your family be doing their Christmas
shopping this year?

TT- Surving a holiday with toddlers

As I type this we are on the last leg of our holiday tour in Hong Kong.

We have managed to survive the mad routine of

– beingĀ  waken up by the kids at 7am even though we went to bed at nearly midnight everyday.

– walking and carrying Roy and sometimes Ryan with our purchases and diaperbag for 4-5 hours daily.

– ensuring that everyone has their fill at mealtimes without letting the kids mess up the dining table too much.
