Bye Bye Google Friend Connect

I’m sure that you have caught wind of  Google Friend Connect will be gone from non blogger blogs in March 2012.  If you have stuck around here on Dominique’s Desk for a while you would have realized that  I have removed the GFC widget from my sidebar and  am promoting Google + instead.

I personally haven’t been really using the functions like sending of newsletters to your followers and other benefits that came with GFC. The function that I really enjoyed what being able to get the latest information about the blogs that I follow and keep in the loop with the latest followings. I’m not sure if there will be any changes to the blogs that I have added to my  Google reader via GFC but I’ll be subscribing to them via the other remaining methods possible.

I hope too that here on Dominique’s Desk there will be more of you guys still around with me. If you haven’t done so you can subscribe to my blog via any or all the methods lists over at the sidebar and the latest updates here on the blog will be sent to you.

You can subscribe to the blog via RSS or E-mail.  Another way would be to  like my Fan page.   or add my blog via network blogs.

It will be a rather chaotic last two weeks of 2011 as I tie up lose ends and do some preparation to welcome 2012. Hope that you enjoy the festive seasons and hope to see you sticking around.
