This week is a much better week then it was last week as Doggie boy is finally back to the pink of health. He really enjoyed himself during his birthday celebration and have been super thrilled with the presents which he has received. R is back from his final business trip for the year. It is great to have him back home and in time for Christmas. This year will be extra special as we will be having a small party over at our house on Christmas Eve. We have decided to have a small one and skip the big gathering/buffet that is being held at one of the aunt’s place with her husband’s relatives. It has been really awkward going to X’mas parties whereby you don’t know half of the guest and they were all part of their own “family clan”. Also with the 3 kids and limited space for them to move around it makes more sense having one at home where everyone can be more at ease. I don’t have to be on the constant look out for the kids and fearful that they break or spill something on the expensive rugs etc.
How are you and your family celebrating Christmas this year?
We celebrate Hanukkah, not Christmas, but I hear you–I HATE going to huge parties with my kids at which I have to navigate a hoard of people that we do/don’t know all while making sure that one of my children doesn’t disappear out a back door somewhere, lol
