Oreo Cheesecake
Self baked- Oreo Cheesecake |
I celebrated my 33rd birthday on Monday. It was a blast as I got to spend time with my love ones. This year I decided on baking my own cake as the cakes bought from the stores didn’t really appeal to me. Another factor was that since I started baking I realized what a joy it is to be able to bake cakes for the family and that it’s not only cheaper but I can control the proportion of sugar and other ingredients that go into the making of the cake.
Are you into baking too?

Looks delicious. Yes I’ve always loved baking, but have yet to try backing a cheesecake, and have only made unbaked cheesecakes.

It’s weird but I have yet to try unbaked cheesecakes.. I know it’s easier to make but haven’t gotten around to do it. KRAFT website does have many easy baked cheesecake recipes. I used the Philly Oreo Cheesecake recipe(altered a bit) to bake this cake.

That cake sure looks yummy! I’m still waiting to buy a good oven so that I can do more baking for the family.

@mom2kiddos,
I use a table top Rowenta 40L Oven and am loving it. You can do a lot besides just baking with an oven. I use mine for roasting and making casseroles too.

Yummy. I am getting ready to post a no bake oreo cheesecake recipe. I love Oreos.

that looks so yummy! I only have made non-baked cheesecakes ( I call them tortes) since I never had a springform pan. It has been too darn hot to bake this summer. now I only bake if company is coming… less temptation for me 😉

I love baking but never try baking a whole round cake. Only bake cup cakes. I love to eat cheese cakes but nobody in my family appreciate it except my sister in law and I. So I never bake cheese cake. Always eat the ones bought from the store
