| My Little Snake Charmer |
A few weeks back while we were at Sentosa Monkey boy took the chance to experience holding a live snake. There was a photo station where one can take photos with the snake. I’m unsure whether the snake was a python or of another species. Monkey boy was really game to agree to pose with the snake as I didn’t think that he would be up to the challenge as the snake was rather big and certainly wasn’t that light to sling around his shoulders. He even told me that it was fun and he knew that he wasn’t in any danger as the snake charmer was around to keep a close eye on his pet snake.

I don’t think so.. he didn’t complain that it felt cold holding it.

Eeek…. I am not a fan of snakes. I remembered seeing one black and red stripes at the toilet drain in my grandma’s old house long long ago.. freak me out until this day!

My son would love to hold that snake! He just chose the topic for his school report: a black mamba.

Brave boy!
I did touch a snake at one of those shows in Thailand, but I draw the line at having one draped over me. When we were at the Singapore Zoo at one of the do’s one of the networks put out for the launch of Animal Planet, I held a baby orangutan (It was cute!) and that was enough for me. Some of my colleagues were more daring and had an albino python draped over themselves.
