Tackling Spring Cleaning for Chinese New Year
Chinese New year is around the corner. In fact it is on Thursday next week! It is the the time to do spring cleaning to chase away all the bad luck from the year of the Tiger and to get ready to welcome the year of the Rabbit. Once again we are preparing for the new year and lots of things seem to still be undone.
This week I managed to get quite a lot of things done. The curtains have been washed , laundry done and clothes ironed. The floors have been vacumn and mopped, air-condition units cleaned out. The pantry has been cleared up and expired items have been junked. Bedlinen has been changed for all of the beds and what is left is only the sorting out of the clothes wardrobes and toys for the boys.
We also cleared out the old sofa as it is no longer comfy sitting on the nearly 10 year old sofa. We got in a new one today. I’m so loving the new addition to our living room. It really makes it more comfortable to sit there and read a storybook to the kids after dinner.
