Nothing is Impossible
2011 is going to be THE YEAR.
How the year is going to turn out should not be solely determined by external events or factor.
It is determined by how optimistic one is and how determined he/she is to work towards achieving the goal in mind.
I have a list of 20 ideas to make this my best year yet.
- Go on a vacation to the land of sushi and Hello Kitty.
- Re-connect with R on a more then one level.
- Spending time reading and practicing more on our religion.
- Set a flexible timetable for myself and the kids
- Lose 14 kilos so I can fit back into my old clothes.
- Staying Positive by surrounding myself with like minded people.
- Have date night once a month.
- Spend time learning new bakes/dishes
- Learn new skills in photography
- Re-connecting with friends I haven’t seen in awhile.
- Spend more time with the kids doing more outdoor activities.
- Take time to take it slow and cherish the daily gifts that GOD has given.
- Mark down all the various happy memories that happen this year.
- Regularly pampering myself.
- Be more productive with the time I spend online.
- Read all the books that I have on my to-read list.
- Revamp my wardrobe.
- Declutter the house more regularly.
- Brush up on my French and Japanese.
- Give more kisses and hugs to the ones who matter the most.

Wow! That’s some list! Are you going to have to refer to it on a daily basis? My list is VERY short and I have to keep it posted on my fridg so I don’t forget. Good post!!

@Judie,
I think I will refer to it on a monthly basis as a motivational tool.

Hi Dominique,
Thanks for visiting my blog. I loved your resolutions! “Brushing up on French” almost made my list as well, as did reading everything on my to read list.
Good luck!!

Buena fortuna! The husband and I take off for a day once a month, rain or shine. Sometimes it’s nothing more than to a movie or a park for a walk. It’s so worth it!

Good luck with that list!…you’ve got some good ones there, but I have to say that Japanese was beyond me – and I really tried!

What a nifty list to start a New Year with!
Mine is shorter and I would have first have to learn to speak Japanese and French a little bit to do it better.
I enjoyed seeing you here on Alphabe-Thursday!
It’s always neat to have new participants.
Thanks for linking.
A+
