Dining in Style with Pier 1
This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Pier 1 Imports. All opinions are 100% mine.
Christmas time is the season to be merry. It is the time for partying and meeting up with friends and relatives. This year with the baby around we have decided to not host a party this year end. However if we were having a dinner party this season there are some pieces which I would really like to have to dress up the table. We would be have a fusion of Chinese/Japanese cuisine as the kids love both Chinese and Japanese food. Dining at home with friends would be great as the choice of food would be more healthy and can cater to both the pallets of the adults and kids.
Besides preparing the food that would be served I would firstly make a stop at Pier 1 to get all the needed decorations to dress up the table.
First of all I would start of decorating the table with this Embroidered Black Floral Table Runner which would be the setting for the Chinese/Japanese theme that we would adopt for the dinner party.
Assorted Shell bowls would certainly look great to hold the various sauces and dips that we may use or hold the different pieces of sushi/sashimi that we will be serving.
Our guest will be served their drinks in Gold Luster Etched Dot Stemware Glasses. Having such glassware on the table would certainly help complement the white crockery that I would be using.
While at Pier 1 I would also take the opportunity to pick out some cute holiday gifts for the kids like their Ice-Cream Scented Bubbles which I’m sure the boys would love blowing after the dinner.
During the months of November and December, you will be able to support Toys for Tots by dropping off an unwrapped toy or making a cash donation at the register at Pier 1.
Help Pier 1 spread the holiday cheer by visiting their Facebook page. For every new fan they get, they will be donating $1 to Toys for Tots.
You too can play your part to make Christmas an even more memorable festival for the other Tots.
