Electrifying Blooms and Dinosaurs

Mesmerizing Light blue bloom

Mesmerizing Light blue bloom

While looking through my photo archives on my laptop I spotted these pictures which I took during our last trip to Jeju Island, Korea.  I love the mixture of light blue and purple on this flower. It  would certainly be the highlight of any room if it was part of a display.

I love the pastel colors of the blooms. The color certainly looks refreshing and would certainly bring  joy to the receiver.

Dinosaurs in the garden

Dinosaurs in the garden

In the botanic gardens at Jeju island  I spotted these  cool looking statues.  Triceratops  and it’s friend were rummaging through the garden looking for food.

While moving around in the garden we spotted this huge  head in between the trees. It wasn’t that scary  as the place was brightly lit.

The statues within the gardens really added to the Jurassic feel of the place and do make a good backdrop for a “Back to the Future” type of movie.

How do you feel about pairing blooms
with dinosaurs?

Statues and White Blooms

A Wooden Horse

Statues  within gardens really help give character to the place.  It sets the theme for the garden and helps to develop your mood as you linger around admiring the flowers.

I spotted this stone crocodile in one of the ponds at  Gardens at the bay.  I feel that it looks more cute then scary as an ornament although it does give one a tropical feel to the place.

A small white bloom

While walking in the garden I spotted this white  bloom. It looked so pure and white and would certainly look lovely in a colorful vase.

A hanging white bloom

If having  table blooms is not your style then how about a hanging white bloom.  This one in the picture above  caught my eye.  It would certainly look eye catching hanging from a pot  off a wall or from the ceilling.

What caught your eye this week?
