Cute Planters and Window Displays

I  always enjoyed looking at table decorations. I’m really intrigued how they are created and how with one little item on the table the table is “liven” up. Having plants in the house  really makes the place a much cozier place to be in.  They certainly make excellent center pieces.

One can be as creative as possible in decorating these planters.  You are only limited by your imagination.   This planter box gives one a rather rugged feel to it with its combination of cacti inside.

This one reminds me of a school courtyard and something a pre-schooler would put together. It is simple yet classy.

This display is simple yet elegant. I love how it adds dimension to the wooden window panes behind.

It’s amazing that even when plants are not available one can use pots of different sizes to create a work of art.  These 3 statues made up of various size pots really look like little kids posing for a picture.

Random Eats- A Japanese and Western Affair

Living in Singapore we are simply spoiled for choice on the food we can eat.   Food is available 24/7 and it can be an extremely difficult decision deciding on what to eat.

On days where it is possible Tiger and I go on breakfast dates. One of our favourite haunts is Coffee bean and Tea Leaf. This is one of the places near our house which serves breakfast on a weekday.

On occasions when I fetch Tiger girl early from school we  go to Swensons to have our favourite food.  Tiger girl loves to eat fish and chips while I prefer to go for something baked/ grilled.

The kids and I love eating Japanese Food. When we have a chance we would opt to have our lunch or dinner at our favourite restaurants.

Here are some of the dishes that we have eaten lately.
