Rekindling Memories Monday Music Moves Me
Last week we started a new activity with Tiger Girl. I introduced her to paints. She found these finger paints in the arts and craft cupboard and promptly took them out asking me to let her try. My little girl was extremely eager to try out using the paint brushes and start painting. I initially thought of letting her try the different colours that we had but changed my mind and let her try one colour instead. It’s her first attempt using the paint brushes and is slowly getting used to holding the brush properly and using it to paint. It really brings back a lot of memories to me as seeing her having fun with paint reminded me how the boys too enjoyed playing with paint when they were her age. Maybe later this week, if time permits I will let her do mixing of colours or try out making coloured ice-cubes.
We didn’t have any particular dance music at our wedding 11 years ago so I’m sharing the traditional wedding march which I had played when we had our church wedding on the 16th of June 2001.

Tiger Girl must have love those finger paints. She is tooo tooo cute! What a unique Idea to play this song today. This song was played at my wedding too by my sister-in-law on my keyboard with an organ sound. She plays very well & plays for her church. It was great. Thanks for playin’ along – you’re duh best! See ya next week & have a good one.

Sorry I’m so late, but it’s my weird working hours. What a beautiful little girl you have. This song I guess I’ll be hearing this summer. As soon as my girl gets her visa (she’s from the Dominican Republic) we’re getting married here. I can hardly wait.
