Five Questions Aloha Friday.
1. Have you ever testified in court? For what?
No.. the closest I have been to the Supreme Court is visiting outside the place on the way to watch a concert at the Victoria Concert Hall.
2. Do you still have your wedding dress?
Yes I do. I bought it years back as we had to have wedding celebrations both in Singapore and Hong Kong. I’m crossing my fingers that I’ll be able to fit back in during our 10yr Wedding Anniversary this June.
4. If you have kids, do they sleep with you? If you don’t have kids…will you let your kids sleep with you when/if you have them?
The baby still sleeps with us as she wakes up for night feeds. When she no longer needs nursing through the night I’ll transfer her to her own room. The elder boys now sleep in their own room.
5. Do you watch late night TV?
No I don’t. I always fall asleep halfway though the program and have difficulty remembering what I have watched. Another reason is that the baby wakes up easily 3-4 times a night to nurse and it’s hard enough getting sufficient sleep so I’m not going to waste time on watching TV.
My question for this week.
How do you make your
Wedding Anniversary Memorable?
It’s another 3 months till my 10th so I’m looking for ideas and planning ahead. It can’t be help that I’m a planner and love to prepare in advance.

Usually we just do a nice dinner and exchange gifts – when we get to our 10th, we’re thinking about doing a big party and renewing our wedding vows. 🙂

@Stacy,
that’s a good idea on renewing our wedding vows.. maybe we should do that too this year.

Have a great weekend!

I’m not really into the memorable anniversaries any more.
Have a great Friday!

We try to have a kid free dinner and spend quality time doing something we love but rarely get to do, congrats on 10 years!

@Ellen,
I guess that will be the case for me too for this year ..I will have to bring youngest along as she’s still super sticky at 6mths old.

1. I’ve been to court when I was a child because they wanted to know about my case because I was found on the side of the road, but I was 5 or 4 and I just sat and wait. The adults did their thing and decide my fate.
2. Do you still have your wedding dress?
Yes. It’s at my MIL’s house. I want it so badly! I must get it when I go there again.
3. Is there a special place you like to go when you’re happy, sad, stressed, etc.?
No. I wish I had somewhere to go.
4. If you have kids, do they sleep with you? If you don’t have kids…will you let your kids sleep with you when/if you have them?
When my kids were babies, they slept with me, but now they sleep in their own room unless they are sick or we are doing movie night.
I wish they come sleep with me more often. Afterall they woont be babies for long.
5. Do you watch late night TV?
I try to but I fall asleep. Well I actually watch crime tv.
How do you make your
Wedding Anniversary Memorable?
WE honestly don’t do anything special. Dinner and move and the other thing.
Enjoy your weekend.

I have to admit that I’m really bad at remembering my anniversary. It’s my husband who always has to remind me! LOL!

1. I have testified, once. It was a restraining order case between my aunt and my SIL. It was a after my grandma had died and all of us were grieving. Deaths in the family makes families act crazy sometimes. Our whole family hasn’t really seen or talked to my aunt since that time. It’s pretty awful to put a restraining order on a family out of spite.
2. I do still have my wedding dress. Its hanging in my closet right now. I keep meaning to get it boxed but its been hanging for nine years and still on my to do list!
3. I like to close the door to my bedroom and lose myself in my favorite tv shows. Its a major escape for me.
4. I have kids and regrettably they do sleep with me. I wish I was more strict about it because it got out of hand and now my bed is a free for all. Last month a couple of times I even had to sleep on the couch to get some space cause it was too crowded in my own bed!
5. I watch some late night TV but more often I watch TV late at night. I usually turn it off between 1 and 2. Like I said earlier – its my escape from reality. Late at night nobody comes in to interrupt me when I’m watching so its my me time.
For our anniversary we used to go find whatever was touristy in the city and do it to celebrate. We did dinner at the Space Needle, Dinner Train, Dinner Cruise, etc. The last few years we haven’t really done anything. In a few months we will celebrate our ninth and I don’t know what we will do. For our tenth though I think we might try to plan a trip to Vegas or something because we have both never been.

WE plan something special…that’s really all.
