Roy has been asking to go bowling for ages. Every time we pass by a bowling alley he would ask to go in to take a look. He has this fascination with balls and bowling and loves to see the bowling ball knocking down all the bowling pins. At that time he was a tad too young for even the lightest 6 pound ball. Roy had to be contented with playing bowling on the WII-FI instead.

Today was the first time that we managed to go bowling with both boys. I’m surprised that they even have bowling shoes in Roy’s size which is smaller then the traditional Size 1 shoes. They had a whale of a time trying to get the ball to knock down the pins. We got the bowling center staff to put up the gutter rails for the boys so that their balls would not fall into the gutter.
It has been nearly 8 years I guess since I last went bowling. My skills are really rusty as many balls that I threw ended up in the gutter. Maybe I should have played in the boy’s lane instead. R scored much better then me even though he hasn’t been playing for a similar number of years as I have.
