Veggietales- Lettuce Love One Another

VeggieTales: Lettuce Love One Another is the latest DVD from the Veggietales Series which was just released this year.

There are three main stories together with 5 short  clips where Bob the Tomato shares scriptures the discuss the importance of showing love through sharing, forgiving, praying, helping and giving. in this DVD.

The stories about

  • Abe & The Amazing Promise
  • King George & the Ducky
  • Tomato Sawyer and Huckleberry Larry’s Big River

talk about patience, not coveting your neighbour’s possession and helping others in need. These are some of the values which I personally hope to teach my kids . The veggietales episodes talk about love for one another and for GOD.

The bonus features

  • The Biscuit of Zazzamarandabo Silly song
  • Sneeze If you need to Silly Song
  • Endagered Love Silly Song
  • Madame Blueberry Storybook
  • How to Draw Abe
  • Helpers are Heros Interactive Storybook
  • How to Draw King George

were really fun to listen to and to learn how to draw the characters in the episodes.

My thoughts

My kids and I really love watching the DVD with all it’s bonus features.  It made a great platform for me to talk about the virtues of  love for others, patience and helping others in need.

I certainly recommend that you pick up a copy of VeggieTales: Lettuce Love One Another for your family.

Swinging Around and Having Fun

Tiger girl enjoying the swing

Tiger girl enjoying the swing

This is Tiger girl’s favourite place in the park is at the  bucket swings. She loves being pushed in it and  swinging up and down.

Not all the parks that we go to have swings and she particularly loves this swing over at Pasir Ris Park.  She likes to feel the wind in her face and flying back and forward going higher and higher up as we push her from behind.

Do you kids love the swings too?
