Birthday Celebrations Tiger Girl Style

Grilled chicken with fries for lunch
Tiger girl turned 4 years old last Friday. She didn’t have any celebrations this year in school with her classmates as it was the week long school holidays. We had a small celebration for her and went out for lunch and dinner that day.
Our first stop was at JCube where we met up with my mom for lunch and we bought Tiger girl her birthday cake.

The strawberry birthday cake
The little girl was reluctant to cut her cake as she was more interested to go swimming then eating cake. As you can see from the photo above it looked more like we were celebrating Monkey boy’s birthday then Tiger girl’s.

Tiger girl happy after swimming
Tiger girl was finally all smiles when we took her to the pool for a dip. She had been bugging me the whole day to go swimming and was really happy when we finally got to the pool.

The frog slide
Tiger girl went countless times down this slide . This was the highlight for her at the swimming pool we visited. She love climbing up from the back and sliding down the frog’s yellow tongue.
I guess that it must be really exhilarating for for the adrenaline junkie in her to be on such a slide. The pool was relatively empty as it was a weekday so she she could play until she was totally exhausted.

Japanese food for dinner
That night Tiger girl was absolutely famished as she could finish the entire portion of food that she ordered for herself. She is eating as much as her brothers and we now need to order an extra adult portion instead of a kids meal for her.

Happy birthday to R! Oh man, I can hardly believe she’s so grown up now – the first time I saw you two at Halia’s food tasting, she was still a toddler.

Happy Birthday to her. That’s a great age to be. They have so many questions about life, and learn a lot when they are 4.

Happy birthday Tiger Girl! I guess that’s how kids are… they’d prefer to do an activity they enjoy doing over eating. It’s thoughtful of you to spend her day with her grandma!
