Awesome Jellyfishes at S.E.A. Aquarium
Jellyfish in motion
Jellyfishes are one of the most deadly creatures in the sea. A sting from certain species like the box jellyfish can be fatal and it’s victim may die within minutes or even seconds.

Jellyfish swiming
They have a very unusual way of moving through the water. They are typified as free-swimming marine animals consisting of a gelatinous umbrella-shaped bell and trailing tentacles. It is really interesting to see the bell pulsate as they move about in the tank.
Jellyfish in a tank
They are really amazing sea creatures. Don’t the jellyfishes look almost luminous under the blue lighting?
Do you like viewing jellyfishes too?

They look cute, but they can be fatal. Talk of nature’s irony! ha ha

jellyfishes have bioluminescence. there are chemicals inside their system that creates that “light”.

It is really an amazing creature. Sometimes I wonder how it feels like to be a jellyfish…just floating around, seemingly defenseless. Just my curious side.

Fantastic photos, especially that first one. Looks like it was taken underwater, rather than through glass.

Mom thinks they are really gorgeous (as are your photos), but is scared to death of encountering one when she’s in the ocean. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Josette
