Thomas Bubble Fun
This weekend the boys had an overdose on Thomas. They literally brought the Thomas the train into the bath.
The weather has been bad these few weeks and all planned outdoor activities had to be cancelled. Not wanting to spoilt the Easter holiday mood we booked ourselves a hotel room for the kids to enjoy the weekend.
” Mummy when can I have a bath with Thomas?” pestered Ryan. He has been bugging me the whole week since he discovered the bubble bath package that I purchased during one of my shopping runs.
” Later darling,” I replied” I have to run the water 1st”.
” Faster mummy, faster…why are you SOOOO slow?” he asked impatiently.
This is the 1st time I have seen him eager for a bath. Everyday after he returns from school it has been a chore just to get him out of his clothes and into the bathroom for a quick shower.

“Mummy….Ahhh!!!” calls Roy as he too tries to rush into the bathtub and gestures for me to help him in. Not wanting to miss out of the fun he screams even louder as I struggle to help him get out of his clothes.
Loud laughter and giggles can be heard as the boys splash around in the tub.
” Can we come here every week?” asked Ryan
I paused before replying, explaining him that this hotel stay weekend was a treat and it was not possible for us to have it every weekend.
“Then mummy,” asked Ryan” Can we bring the bathtub home?”
Smiling at him I replied” You will have to ask your daddy.”
