Life’s Little Pleasures – Baking Pizza Tiger Girl Style

The kids have always love eating pizza and recently even Tiger girl has been asking for pizza. As it really isn’t that cheap eating pizza at a restaurant we decided to make our own for lunch.
Pizza

I have baked pizza a few times with the kids but it was the first time that Tiger girl was participating in the pizza baking activity.

She was thrilled to be able to get her hands into plying the dough from the bowl to the tray and adding in the pineapple cubes.

She waited patiently for about half and hour before the pizza was baked and cooled enough to eat.

Pizza

What better pleasure in life then enjoying a baking session with my favourite little girl 🙂

Here is the recipe that I used to make the pizza.

For the pizza  I made the dough before hand using this recipe.

Ingredients

-. I packet active yeast

-. 2 1/2 cup bread flour

– 1 teaspoon white sugar

– 1 teaspoon salt

2 tablespoon olive oil

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C). In a medium bowl, dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water. Let stand until creamy, about 10 minutes.
  2. Stir in flour, salt and oil. Beat until smooth. Let rest for 5 minutes.
  3. Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface and pat or roll into a round. Transfer crust to a lightly greased pizza pan or baker’s peel dusted with cornmeal. Spread with desired toppings and bake in preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until golden brown. Let baked pizza cool for 5 minutes before serving.

For the toppings for the pizza we used the following

– pineapple cubes

– Mozzarella cheese

– ham

Do you bake together with your kids?

Pororo Tiger Girl’s Latest Love and other Friday Memes

porroro the movie

My little girl simply adores this little penguin- Pororo. While on holiday’s in Korea she was really thrilled to see him virtually everywhere.

For those you do not know this cartoon character it was developed in Korea hence the  immense popularity over there with the kids.  Tiger girl watches it almost daily on  Disney Junior – Chanel 311 on cable tv.

Pororo

She was squealing in delight when Pororo appeared on stage before the start of the movie to say a warm welcome to the audience.
