Weekend Reflections- Chuggington

Thomas the Train and friends no long ranks supreme in our household. This new group of chuggers have been easing their way into the minds of the boys lately. The show Chuggington is currently being shown on Playhouse Disney and the toys can be found in Toysrus.

I recently bought “Wilson Gets a Wash” from the Chuggington series of books from the Scholastic Book Spree. Roy loves to read along with me when we take the book out to read before bedtime. He has been asking for the other books in the series which are featured on the back flap of the book. It’s great to see that he is extending his selection of books that he chooses to read at night.

Writer’s Workshop-To do it over again

(A cake which I baked two years ago)

This week for my entry for Mama Kat’s Writer’s workshop I will be writing on the topic- #1 To Do It Again.

There are many things which I wouldn’t change for the world however on the topic of to do it again here are some items which I hope that I was able to complete/do if I was given the chance.

Take a course on Adobe Illustrator/Computer designing. It is taking an awful long time self studying this software but hopefully I will get much better at this in time to come.

Learn and take up courses in baking/ cooking so that I am able to increase the number of dishes and types of food I am able to cook.

Complete and obtain at least a Level 3 in Japanese.

Get TOFEL certified so I will be able to teach English as a second language overseas.
