(c) Dominique's Desk 2009

There are many different task that I have to carry out daily in my job. The job scope is very wide and working hours are extremely long with not many breaks and off days given.  Remuneration in terms of monetary rewards is relatively low and prospects of promotion is  virtually non-existent.  However I wouldn’t want to have a change in job at the moment.

Here are the 10 reasons why I love my job as a TSAHM

  1. I get to spend time with the people that I care the most.
  2. I get to plan my own schedule and ensure that everyone’s well-being (including mine) is being taken care of.
  3. I get to see the kids grow up and not miss out on any of their milestones.
  4. I get to personally groom and teach them during the crucial years.
  5. I don’t need to deal with nasty colleagues and the politics in the office.
  6. I have lesser kids and problems to deal with. (3 instead of 42 x the number of classes I teach)
  7. I am free of worries about others mistreating  or abusing the kids in my absence.
  8. I am able to see that the kid have a balance diet and spend quality and quantity time learning/playing.
  9. I do not have to worry about meeting deadlines and can afford to go on holidays during the off-peak season.
  10. I get to spend more time with R and we can occasionally meet up for lunch.
