I won 3500 Entrecredits

This weekI was pleasantly surprised to receive the Feedburner e-mail from Rockfuse with their latest blog post. I had subscribed to this blog during it’s recent mega contest and was surprised to have won 3500 Entrecredits from two of their sponsers for the contest. I received 1500 EC from Freebie Reporter & 2000 EC from Wiehanne Lounge

These are two great sites. Freebie Reporter gives you the latest news of Free / Featured items while Wiehanne Lounge is a blog by an Indonesian girl who is a freelance web deisigner. [ Love her header and the graphic layout of her site] I hope to be able to design something like that in the future.

Dominique Thoughts Blog Action Day

Today is Blog Action Day. On The Action Blog there is a list of 88 items which you can pick from to make the world a better place. This year’s theme is on poverty. I feel that the choice of topic is really apt as it relates to the millions on this earth that are facing hunger and poverty and are helpless about their situation.

We should always be grateful for what little we have and be generous with our blessings. I believe in being frugal and to be generous to the less fortunate as the blessings that you will receive from GOD would be hundredfold.

This year I will be getting the boys to step up on saving water and electricity . [ Electricity tariffs have just increased by 21% this month] Our electricity/water bill has shot up from SGD $150-$220/mth. Added steps must be taken to reduce the utilities bills back to a more affordable $100-$150 range.

We will also be packing away and donating all their old toys and clothes which they have outgrown but still in good condition.
