This week being the first week of the school holidays I decided that it was time to start him on some cooking lessons now that he is already eight. I bought him his own frying pan and we started off with the first lesson~ Frying an egg.
Monkey boy decided on scrambled eggs as it was easier to manage as compared to a sunny side one.

Monkey boy has been craving for chocolate chip cookies so we decided to make some that afternoon.

Zuma’s Revenge by PopCap was one of the games which I loved playing during my teens. I was thrilled when I was informed that it is available on iPad and I get to try it out. The iPad edition was released on Mar 08, 2012 as stated on the iTunes page.
There are 60 levels of fun where you get to fire stone spheres from a frog’s mouth to match and destroy the deadly stream of balls. There are battles with the various tiki bosses at the end of every 10 levels. Each zone unlocked once you have battled with a tiki boss and defeated him.
It was not easy to defeat the boss and my frog lost it’s live several times during the game.
As you can see from the screenshot above the furthest I got to was level 37/60 when I drafted this post. Just watch the video trailer below to see the game in action.
My thoughts
I found this game truly addictive. It was really difficult to put the iPad down once I started on the game. The game does get progressively harder once you reach level 30 and beyond and I had difficulty co-ordinating both of my hands trying to shoot away the balls as fast as possible. In certain levels you will have to jump from one lily pad to another just to battle stream of fast and furious balls.
It certainly is a game for one to destress with at the end of the day.
You can purchase this app from the iTune Store for $4.99. It certainly makes a fun gift for anyone who is a kid at heart.
