Writer’s Workshop: Year end Bucket List
It will be Christmas in about a month’s time. There is still lots of things which I have yet to get done. We do not have winter here but I am going to list down the things I would like to complete during these “winter” months.
- Do up the library at home and rearrange all the books we have in the house.
- Lose that excess 5kg weight and get back to ideal.
- Do up my 2013 blogging calendar.
- Draft out the syllabus for teaching the kids Japanese next year.
- Set up new schedules for everyone in the family for 2013.
- Bake bread
- Plan for a year end couple holiday

Interesting list you got there. Come to think of it… haven’t had a year-ender list ever; more like a New Year’s resolution list. Now, you make me think of my list. Will come up with one and share on my blog, too. 🙂 Thanks!

No definite plans…we usually have very simple celebrations. I guess, I’m just going to savor the holidays…no work to think about for a while 🙂 I just hope I don’t slack with exercise and I could control eating.

Oops,I don’t have one yet. Maybe, I should consider making one earlier (I tend to procrastinate a lot…)

Hi Dominique ~~ My bucket list is similar to yours with a few such as teaching the kids Japanese will be missing.
Actually though, I usualliy tell people that I have done everything in my life that I need to do and gone every place that I need to go. Everything that comes now will be a bonus.

Maybe I won’t make a special list for this ‘winter’ months because a few months ago i made a very long list of stuff I want to get done and I haven’t made much progress. So maybe my resolution for these remaining months of the year is to knock off a few of those on that list. 🙂

Goodluck! I hope you’ll completely finish everything on ur list! ^_^

I don’t really have anything more planned throughout the winter months than I already keep on-going year round. I’m just trying to get a handle on a routine which will encompass many things in my life in an orderly fashion with fewer stresses. Like you, I’m trying to loose some unwanted weight. I’d like to drop at least 5 pounds. The holidays will make this task challenging at best, but I’ll try to keep my resolve firm the best I can. Okay, I’m certain I’ll cave in a bit.
A year end list? Hmmm, I can’t say I have a structured one locked away inside my mind. I think it’s difficult for me to think alone these lines when there are so many things coming at me all at once, but the one constant thing other than exercise/diet is the continued de-cluttering process, a job that never seems to end. lol

Very interesting list! It sure got me thinking too. There are only 5 weeks to Xmas… and there’s so much to do! I have a calendar on the fridge to keep us focused and organised with all the end of school and year functions that are going on.

Thanks for your positive vibes Jenny,
Will certainly let you know [ blog about it] if I do get all done before 31st Dec.. Not that hopeful on the 5kg weight issue but the others should be achievable.
