Weekend Reflections: Instangram Fun
This week I’ve tried new application which some of my friends had been using- Instagram. I’ve know that this application was available for the Iphone but didn’t know that it is now available for android phones. I’ve been having fun playing with this new app and love how easy it is to jazz up the picture using the filters available. It is really an easy way to share photos.
However the resolution of the photos taken by the phone is not as good after such processing.

Here is the same photo again but processed on the PC in Picasa. I feel that the photo looks sharper and clearer being process online then in instagram. However for pictures on the go it is surely hand especially when I do not have my camera around.
What have you been playing around this week?

I’ve unsuccessfully tried Instagram on my Android phone. I used it before on my Samsung Galaxy Y. Apparently, it’s not pala compatible to all android! 🙂 It’s a really cool app though! 🙂

Instagram is one great app. You should use it regularly for awesome photos.

wow, I still did not try this app. I always noticed most of my friends has this Instagram. The result of this picture is very nice… I should maybe give a try.

I’m probably one of the few people left w/o a smart phone, but I do think the apps and many options, including the one you are discussing, are neat.

I have it installed on my phone but haven’t tried it yet…I’m not convinced!

Nice pic. Perfect get-up for the rainy season. I haven’t used instagram. Have heard about it but didn’t know it works only for iPhone and Androids.

I have no idea how to use the instagram I have installed on my Iphone. I tried to use it once and came up with a mess of a photograph, but my Iphone doesn’t take the greatest pics anyway. Bravo you actually got this to work. I am trying to figure out if I can fix the photos before I upload them to Instagram.

Oooh! I am okay with it, although not really crazy about it because, apparently, there are still bugs on Galaxy Y which makes the image distorted and makes it really frustrating. If they do fix that problem, then I would probably love it all the way! haha

I haven’t tried it yet though my friends kept telling me I should try it with my phone, hehe!

Hi Dominique… so good to see your name 🙂 I like the second picture myself. That’s the one you edited with Picassa right? I like picassa as well.

@Carla,
Yes I edited the second picture with Picassa. I have yet to really try out Photoshop even though I recently got it.
