Random Tuesday Thoughts- Kids, Holiday Plans
#1- I don’t understand why my bed is a real magnet for kids. All 3 of them love tumbling in once they wake up. The worst thing happened this morning when my 4 yr old woke up screaming that his pants were wet and the bed was wet. Duh!! Luckily I have already placed waterproof mattress protectors on all the beds in the house. It would be nice to have such a bed like in this picture. It really makes it easy to have breakfast in bed with the swivel side tables.
#2- The weather is really hot!! I thought that it should get cooler now that is is almost the end of the year. Certain parts of the world is already snowing. Why is it still blazing hot over here in the tropics? I can’t wait to down a glass of cold ice water.
#3- We are going on our staycation in 2 weeks!! I’ve gotten everything ready- new swim suit for the girl, foam bath and bubbles to play with for the boys and packing all our beach toys.
#4- I’m going into high gear with the cooking and baking. The recipe books have been sitting in the cupboards collecting dust for too long. If time permits I will be trying out a new recipe per week.. just pass along all the calories and fats to the guinea pigs and not me.

The big bed does tend to be a magnet for little ones, doesn’t it? Smart move putting waterproof mattress protectors on all the beds…I didn’t do that and had to throw out a feather bed when Princess Nagger was younger.
Your staycation sounds awesome – though it’s gotten cold here, so I can’t wrap my head around bathing suits! 😉
Looking forward to reading about your recipe fun – I do the same thing, pass the calories and fats to the guinea pigs and not me. 😉

I’m ready to bake, too. We aren’t having any guests this Thanksgiving, but that will not stop me from making at least two pies.

My hubs want a bed like that but I keep telling him it is so unpractical. Plus every time I see one I picture myself whacking my shin on it all the time.
