My Doggie Boy’s Gifts

This weekend was a really special one. Doggie boy baked some heart-shaped cookies in school for me. He also made this lovely art piece below.

My Mother’s Day Present

I’m really touched to receive his Mother’s Day flower. I’m impressed that he has shown a marked improvement in his Chinese and is now able to write really well in it. He is now able to write his own Chinese name legibly and he can recognize a lot more words and vocabulary.

He also proved to me today that he is able to connect with me even though he is away from home. While at granny’s house today he made a few calls to my handphone without any assistance. It shows that he knows how to get into contact with me if the need arises.

I’m so proud of my 4yr old boy.

June is a month of celebration for us. We will be celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary. I have been thinking hard of about gifts for men as I want my choice to be ultra memorable as it would double up as a Father’s Day gift to him too.

I want hubby to have an experience of a lifetime. Something which he will always remember fondly when he thinks back reminiscing about it.

Tandem Skydiving is an adventure which I’m sure he will enjoy. It certainly caters to his need of speed by free falling through the sky. It would be a great rush of adrenaline as you feel the wind beneath you as you fly in the sky.

R always wondered how it would feel to soar free like a bird in the sky and this would be a great opportunity for him to experience it in a safe and controlled setting.

He could also relieve the moment when he watches the video of his jump. Imagine dropping off at 7500 ft and falling as fast as 200 mph. He would also feel the spring back when the parachute is deployed at 2500ft and the slow descend back onto the ground. It would be an ultimate experience for him.
