Sophie the Giraffe Vanilla Teether Review

The people at Sophie & Friends , who sponsored the Cleebo giveaway, were kind enough to send me a vanilla teether to review a few weeks back.

Tiger Girl has been teething for quite awhile. Her first tooth finally started sprouting this week after constantly drooling for the past few months.

I jumped at the opportunity to let Tiger Girl try out this Sophie the Giraffee teether  as it is a teether which is BPA & Phthalates-free. The teether has a ring which makes it easy for an infant to handle and it has a lovely vanilla smell. The whole multi-textured teether is chewable and would help massage Tiger Girl’s gums during this teething period.

Tiger Girl with her Giraffe

Tiger girl was extremely delighted to hold onto the teether once I got it out of the box.  You can see that teether is infant friendly and easy for her to grasp with her fingers.

I left it to her to figure out the teether and noticed that she wasn’t really particular into chewing on it.  She rather enjoyed flinging it all over the place and gesturing to me to help her pick it up.

My Findings

I find that the Sophie the Giraffe Vanilla Teether is a really lightweight and pleasant smiling teether. Unfortunately my little girl doesn’t really fancy it and uses it like a ring toss instead.

Disclosure: I received a sample teether for review purposes. Opinions are 100% my own.

Aloha Friday~ We are on Vacations

This evening we will be leaving for our 3D 2N staycation at a local hotel. The kids  are hyped as they can’t wait to get into the pool and cool off from the  intense heat that we have been having this week.

I’ll be packing in the bubble bath solutions as I’m sure they will enjoy a few dips in the hotel tub.  I’m hoping this time around I will be able to have a dip myself if Tiger girl is co-operative and heads to bed early  and stays asleep for at least an hour .

1. Do you think cursive writing is overrated? (Schools in Indiana have now voted to take teaching cursive writing out of their curriculum.)

I like the look of cursive writing and  I don’t think it is overrated. Many people nowadays write script or just rely on typing on their keyboards. I feel that it will set the practice for good penmanship.

2. Do you still use a pocket calendar or notepad or do you keep your info on your smart phone?

I use a variety- notepad/ smart phone and google calandar.  It depends on what item needs to be recorded.  For appointments I normally keep note on my Nokia phone.

3. What 3 things would you save if your house was burning down? (family & pets are already safe)

-Important documents like wedding cert, degrees, passport etc
My laptop
– My camera

4. Country Mouse or City Mouse, err Person?

I think that I’ll be able to fit in both country or city but I think I am a more city person then country.

5. If you could pick ANY reality show to go on, which would you pick?

I’m thinking more onto the lines of Top Chef or Hell’s Kitchen type of reality show.. it will give me a chance to hone my cooking/baking skills.
