Worlds Greatest Best Friends Forever

My BFF Winnie and me during our recent trip to Hong Kong

I’m very lucky to have several very good friends however if I really have to choose one it would be Winnie.

I got to know Winnie when we were studying  in University together in Melbourne, Australia. Both of us were enrolled in the commerce faculty and had a few classes together. We were staying on campus together back and had lots of opportunities to meet up.  It was fun hanging out with her and our friends.

She is a fun loving, bubbly girl from Malaysia who is very caring towards friends and family. Although she is now married and staying in Hong Kong she still keeps very close contact with her family members back home.

It has been nearly 14 years since we graduated from university  we still keep in contact. We have been able to discuss anything and everything together and still do.

She has been there as a listening ear for me and gives me the support that I need. Both of us are able to rely on each other in our times of need.

Even though Winnie and  I are staying in different countries and do not have the chance to meet up that often we still keep on contact with each other via e-mail and FB.

I’m very glad to have you as my BFF, Winnie.

Happy Children’s Day

The month of October has arrived without me realizing it. This week is extra special for the kids are they will be celebrating Children’s Day on the 7th.   Since this year the Children’s Day is celebrated on the 1st Friday of October. It used to be celebrated on the 1st of October. I’m sure that the kids would be heading for the playground given the day off from school on Friday.

When is Children’s Day celebrated in your country?
