Fun in a Ball Monday Music Moves Me

Last week while we were at the River HongBao  Monkey boy  took the opportunity to try out this Zorb ball ride. He has been wanting to try out this ride since we saw it once at a funfare. However at that time he wasn’t tall enough to try out the ride so we had to give it a miss. This time around he was of the right height to give it a try and there was no way he was  going to miss out on having  fun again.  It’s really cool . They open up this big zipper on the ball and you enter it before it’s being filled up with oxygen and being zipped up. He didn’t even get wet even though the ball was set upon a shallow wading pond.  It was quite hard for Monkey boy to maneuver the ball around the pool as it did need a lot of dexterity and effort just to move it.  I would like a go in this contraption if I have the chance the next time.

This week theme is on Broadway musicals so my pick for the day is from one of the classics- The Phantom of the Opera.

SOC: Sprinkling Colour into your Life

The gods of Good Fortune (Fu), Prosperity (Lu), and Longevity (Shou).

As we usher in the Year of the Dragon  I’m sure that everyone is looking forward to having Good Fortune, Prosperity and Longevity. Earlier on on the week when we went to the River HongBao display down at Marina Bay besides seeing the 12 zodiac animals and dragons on  display  we also saw many other exhibits like the one above.

The colourful birds on display made me think about how important it is to sprinkle colour into one’s life.  It is up to us to lead meaningful lives.  Having the right mindset coupled with determination and a plan has made the start of 2012 more exciting and interesting for me. Things are looking good and I’m very hopeful that I’ll be able to finish all that I have planned for the month. I’m going all out to enrich myself physically, mentally and spiritually. It will certainly be a life changing 2012.
