During the weekend we brought the boys rock climbing. Pamela, a fellow mom  from SMB had kindly arranged for us to have an afternoon rock climbing at Beyond Acadamics. (I’ll do a detailed write up of the place later this week). The boys and I had fun rock climbing. R too did join in and it was a great family activity. It was the first time that R and I tried rock climbing.

I feel that it is important that we show the kids that it is possible to strive for things even though it looks difficult and may seem impossible.  I believe that a kid learns better or is more motivated to do things if parents actively participate in it instead of just cheering by the sidelines.

Monkey boy managed to go all way up by himself but Doggie boy decided to call it a day halfway through. Nevertheless it was a good effort on his part to attempt the wall.  Good job!! Maybe the next time we try rock climbing he would be able to progress further up the wall.

If you were wondering what Tiger girl was doing while the rest of the family was rock climbing she was busy playing with the kiddy rides which belonged to the kids who lived at that house. She enjoyed herself on both the car and the bike the whole 2.5hrs we were there.
