Woogi’s World- A reivew

Woogi’sWorld an interactive real-time kid safe game website for kids aged above 5. It is free to sign up and play.I had been trying out this website  with Ryan since last month.

There are a few different places to visit in the world.

  • Mission HQ
    – Where you learn the basics of how to balance internet usage and study.
-How to keep your particular private and be wary of strangers on the internet.
The nagging part about completing the missions at Mission HQ is that they require you to print out some of their game which I personally feel that is a waste of paper and ink to print out and play.
  • The school & the nutrition centre are areas which you can visit to learn more about Vitamins, preventing germs etc.
  • The arcade which has  a variety of games there which you can try out with your woogi and earn badges/points at the same time.
  • The movie theatre where  you can watch short movie clips there for a few woogi dollars.
  • The homefix store where you can purchase items with your woggi dollars for your house.
  • The hair saloon where you can change your hairdo
  • The pet shop where you can adopt and train your pet.

It is a family friendly website which is suitable for young children from  5-10 years old as you get to learn how to surf the net safely and gain some scientific knowledge at the same time.

Ryan’s verdict:- He love the arcade games but found other parts of it – shopping/ socialising with other woogies not his cup of tea. He preferred playing Mia’s adventure more as it is more challenging and to his liking as compared to this online game.

My Verdict:-I personally found the game not as appealing as the other online games which I have tried – Neopets and World of Warcraft. However I give it a thumbs up for the educational material on nutrition and internet safety which has been incorporated inside. Do visit Woogisworld with your child as a portal to introduce your child to the proper way to interact on the internet.
